VARIOUS OF PROTESTERS HOLDING BANNERS AND PALESTINIAN FLAGS, MARCHING IN STREETS GRONINGEN, NETHERLANDS - SEPT. 14: Large crowds gathered at Grote Markt in the northern Dutch city of Groningen on Sunday, Sept. 14, before marching through the streets to protest the government’s stance on Israel. Many participants dressed in red as they joined the demonstration, marking one of the largest rallies in the region against Dutch policy on Israel. The Israeli army has killed nearly 65,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases. Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its war in the territory.
