RIVNE REGION, UKRAINE - SEPT. 15 - RESTRICTION: USERS MUST CREDIT “UKRAINIAN STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE ” HANDOUT, MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO —EDITORIAL USE ONLY— The 18th evacuation train from Ukraine’s Donetsk region arrived in Rivne on Monday, Sept. 15, carrying 24 passengers.
Rescue teams, police officers, medical staff and volunteers welcomed the evacuees, assisted with belongings, arranged transport, and provided food and initial psychological support.
Authorities said more than 280 people have been evacuated from Donetsk to Rivne since Aug. 21.
