2. VARIOUS OF PALESTINIANS SPEAKING TO CAMERA GAZA, PALESTINE - SEPT. 17: Hundreds of Palestinian families continued to flee northern Gaza southward on Wednesday, Sept. 17, following intensified Israeli bombardment and evacuation orders.

Families were seen carrying children in their arms and pushing carts loaded with belongings as they moved along Rashid Street under the threat of airstrikes and drones.

Those who reached the south reported severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine in temporary shelters.

The forced displacement, often described by residents as a “death road,” has left many civilians dead. Survivors face dire conditions without safe shelter or access to basic humanitarian needs.

The Israeli army has killed more than 65,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
