5. INTERVIEW WITH DALIA SARIG-FELLNER, ACTIVIST FROM THE JEWISH ANTI-ZIONIST INITIATIVE GAZA, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 20: Thousands gathered in Vienna, the capital of Austria, on Sunday, Sept. 20, to show support for Palestine and call for sanctions against Israel.

The protest, organized by more than 40 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Austria, drew thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

Marching toward the Austrian Parliament in Vienna with a call for sanctions on Israel, protesters carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as “Stop the genocide,” “Free Palestine,” and “Boycott Israel.”

During the march, supporters of Palestine also held placards bearing the names of children killed by Israel in Gaza, as well as signs reading “Stop the genocide in Gaza.”

Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has been carrying out a genocide in Gaza, which has so far killed more than 65,200 Palestinians, most of them women and children.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
