VARIOUS OF VETS TREATING OWLSDIYARBAKIR, TÜRKİYE - SEPT. 22: Four orphaned barn owls rescued in southeastern Türkiye are preparing to return to the wild after three months of intensive care. The chicks were found in Diyarbakir’s Dicle Valley after their mother died. Local residents handed them over to the Dicle Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, established by the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry and Dicle University. Veterinary checks revealed the young owls were dehydrated and exhausted from hunger. Initially fed with mealworms and later fresh liver, the birds regained strength.
