In a heartening rescue operation, officers from the capital's patrol police regiment intervened swiftly to save ducks spotted at the intersection of Turan Avenue and Kayim Mukhamedkhanov Street in Astana, Kazakhstan. Officers Abzal Oken and Aibek Baybatyrov halted traffic to ensure the safety of a duck and its chicks.

Rescuing the wandering chicks proved challenging, but with the assistance of a passer-by, they were safely loaded into a patrol car. The police then transported the ducks and chicks to the Sarbulak water channel for their safety.

"Animals and birds can enter roads for various reasons. In such cases, it's important to reduce speed and avoid sudden maneuvers. Ensure safety for yourself and others, then contact emergency services," advised the police.
