Los Angeles, United States - September 24, 2025 09/24/2025 05:00 am GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station responded to West Lancaster just after 5 a.m. Wednesday for a reported burglary in progress. While deputies were arriving, an unknown vehicle collided with a marked black-and-white patrol unit. It is unknown whether the deputy was responding in code 3 (lights and sirens), which may have contributed to the vehicle rolling over several times. The deputy inside sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, investigators have not determined whether the driver of the vehicle that struck the deputy’s unit was connected to the reported burglary. The incident remains under investigation.
