Los Angeles, United States - August 12, 2025 08/11/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Lancaster Sheriff’s units pursued a vehicle stolen at gunpoint in the city of Lancaster. The chase included wrong-way driving on the 14 and 5 Freeways, re-entering wrong-way at Roxford Street and the 5, and a failed carjacking attempt near the 5 Freeway. The suspects then stole a tractor-trailer minutes later, which continued toward downtown Los Angeles, where another vehicle was carjacked under the 10 Freeway and Alameda. The pursuit ended near Mission Road and Cesar Chavez Avenue, where the suspects ditched the final stolen car and fled. California Highway Patrol recovered a firearm and a shell casing from one of the abandoned vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.
