USA: Single Vehicle Fatal Collision in Lancaster, LA

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and AMR ambulance responded to the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue K8 in the city of Lancaster for a reported vehicle versus light pole collision. Upon arrival, paramedics located a vehicle that had collided with the light pole on the southwest corner of the intersection with at least one patient inside the vehicle. Paramedics exhausted all resources and attempts to revive the driver of the vehicle and was unsuccessful. The patient was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation. No further details are available.
