Youngsters brave strong wind and rain to help deliveryman caught in storm
This is the heartwarming moment youngsters braved strong winds and heavy rain to help a deliveryman who was caught in a storm.
Bryan Wong and his friend noticed the rider, clad in a purple raincoat, struggling to start his broken-down motorcycle beneath a tree amid a downpour in Penang, Malaysia.
The pair can be seen running towards the worker and urging him to step down after repeated attempts to power the vehicle failed on September 25.
One teenager, dressed in a black shirt, then rode the two-wheeler and pushed it along the road to temporarily park it inside their garage, while his companion in a white shirt escorted the deliveryman towards the building.
He paused in the parking area, watching his friend manoeuvre the motorcycle.
Bryan said: 'I kept telling myself it was just normal rain, but I hadn't anticipated the strong winds and storm. The deliveryman had been sitting on the motorcycle, stranded at the roadside with no one to help. My friend and I decided to assist him at all costs. I promised him that he would be safe.'
On the same day, the Malaysian Meteorological Department issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several states, including Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
