The fire broke out in the Dniprovskyi district, engulfing an apartment on the eighth floor and spreading to the balconies of neighboring units.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine evacuated five people to safety during the operation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by law enforcement agencies.
