Storyline: About 500,000 people remain trapped within less than 8 square kilometers in Gaza City, Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said on Sunday. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) on Aug 22 announced in a report that famine has already occurred in Gaza City and projected that famine would spread to Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis by the end of September.
