Michael Cunanan punctured the plastic handwear to make room for his extra thumb, which grows beside his natural one, at the Lotus Cafe in Bulacan, the Philippines, on September 29.

Footage shows his friend, Herman Dioquino, holding up the modified glove to the camera as the pair laughed at the clever yet comical fix.

Michael said he often has to adapt everyday items to suit his unique hand but takes it all in good humour.
