An American shares the five things the UK does better than the US - including chocolate, public transport and castles.

Brianna Morton, 38, has been living in Downham Market, Norfolk, for the past three years after her husband, Thomas, 32, was stationed there due to his role as a tech sergeant in US Air Force.

The mum-of-four has had to get used to British culture - but says she now doesn't want to leave.

She only tried Cadbury's chocolate for the first time after moving to Britain and says she now can't go back to "waxy" US confectionery."

She said public transport is better in the UK - as where she lived in Kansas they didn't have buses and only one train that came very infrequently.

Brianna also loves the NHS, British history and architecture and being able to travel to Europe easily - seeing 30 countries in the three years she has been here.

But she says the US does pancake syrup, air conditioning, housing estate layouts, seasonings and Halloween better than the UK.

Brianna, a content creator, said: "We love it here."

"The food is the biggest difference."

"It tastes so healthy. It tastes clean."

"I'd never had Cadbury's."

"Hershey's - it's waxy."

"It's nostalgic but it doesn't taste good."

Brianna lives in Norfolk with two of her children - Skyy, 14, and Aspen, three. Her elder daughter, Amelie, 22, is studying in Switzerland while her son, Seth, 15, lives in the US with Brianna's mum,

Becky, 65.

Brianna had always "dreamed" of living in England and has thrown herself into trying different foods and soaking up the country while she is here."

When living in Kansas Brianna said she would drive everywhere.

She said: "There might be a passenger train that might come through the town at about 2am."

"Everyone has cars because everything is super spread out."

"In the UK I didn't have a car for the first two years."

"There are a lot more public transport options in the UK."

"People here rely on it."

Brianna says healthcare is better in the UK - as the NHS is tax-payer funded.

In the US she says she was getting endless medical bills when her kids would injure themselves - with a broken arm setting her back $30k.

She said: "I had lots of medical bills. It would take me years to pay them off."

Brianna says history and architecture is better in the UK.

She said: "I just love the castles."

"It's neat. I go for a picnic with the kids and seat near a castle or a cathedral."

"Childhood me would be jealous."

But Brianna says sporting events are better in the US.

She said: "There is a better atmosphere at American football games."

"Here you show up at sporting events and then hang out after."

She also said air conditioning in the US is better and she has had to adapt to living without it in the UK during the heatwaves.

Brianna said she's also had to get used to different British accents - as she previously thought we all spoke with a "posh one" that she'd heard in Hollywood films."

She's had to get out of the habit of saying 'sir' and 'ma'am' as she found it offended British people and could be seen as "disrespectful"."
