US, Los Angeles: Canyon Country Hazmat Response After Infant Found Unresponsive

Los Angeles, United States - October 08, 2025 10/08/2025 04:50 pm GMT-0700 CANYON COUNTRY, SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A call reporting a baby not breathing in the 17800 block of Deana Lane was received by authorities Wednesday evening. Fire department personnel performed CPR on the 2-month-old infant immediately, but were unsuccessful. A Hazmat Task Force was called in to investigate possible carbon monoxide exposure inside the home. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies remained on the scene conducting their investigation.
