LAFD responded to a residential structure fire. Arriving crews located a fully involved residence with fire showing from the rear of the home and an internal fire. Firefighters aggressively fought the fire and during the search of the residence, two burn victims were located with one unresponsive. The unresponsive victim was rushed to a nearby RA where CPR was initiated by paramedics. The condition of both victims is unknown at this time. Paramedics were standing by with an additional two RAs for possible victims, but none were located. Multiple residents were displaced including 2 females ages 40 and 48 and males ranging from 35 to 70 years of age. An infant was also possibly inside the home but while searching, the baby wasn't located. It's presumed the infant wasn't inside the home when the fire began. It's unknown at this time if any other victims were located. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. It appears that most of the fire was concentrated in the interior of the residence. The fire located to the rear of the home was knocked down in about 5 to 10 minutes and firefighters achieved knockdown of the internal fire in approximately 30 minutes. Red cross was dispatched to assist the displaced residents. SOT WITH LAFD BATTALION CHIEF IN VIDEO.
