A shocking video shows the tense moment a woman bravely defended a man who was reportedly questioned about his nationality.

Farah Dualeh, 30, filmed the confrontation on the London Underground after a man allegedly began shouting at another passenger for refusing to reveal where he was from.

According to Farah, the passenger had simply shaken his head when asked about his nationality, which angered the man.

A video shows the man shouting: "What the f***, are you scared of your country? What the f***? F*** off! Don't talk to me! You're a sh** person."

The man, who wasn't named, then appears to mock the other man's accent.

This is when a woman sitting opposite stepped in, questioning why he was asking a fellow passenger about his nationality.

"Why does he have to tell you where he's from? Who are you to him?" the woman says, before the man retorts, "Because he's talking to me here!"

The argument quickly escalated into a shouting match, with other passengers joining in to defend the man.

Farah, a steward at Chelsea Stadium, said: "It was honestly so shocking to see. "

"The entire train was backing the man with the mask who was being attacked. "

"I was about to say something, but then the woman opposite started speaking up, and she seemed to have it handled. "

"She was pointing out exactly what I was thinking: why is this man being so hypocritical?"

Farah spotted the two men speaking before the argument erupted as they had separately attended the Chelsea F.C. home game.

But the tone turned sour when the man on the right refused to answer the man in blue's question about where he was from.

Farah said: "The whole argument started between Sloane Square and Victoria on the Circle Line. "

"The guy in blue said to the other 'I was born here but from India, so where are you from?' "

"The other guy just started shaking his head, clearly not wanting to answer the question. "

"That's when I started filming because the man got so angry and it made zero sense to me. "

"By the time we got to Victoria station, the argument had gotten so loud that the entire train could hear it."

A woman, who has not been named, can be heard in the video defending a man who was questioned about his nationality.

Footage shows her telling the man to stop bullying people and challenging his right to ask others where they are from.

She then asked, "Where the hell are you from?" to which he replied, "I am from London."

The woman responded, "And you're from India - don't ever forget that," before adding, "Your parents will be embarrassed."

The argument later escalated into a shouting match, with other passengers joining in to defend the man, who had walked away by that point.

Farah said: "A TfL staff member from the station ended up coming on and informing everyone that we had to get out. "

"It was definitely because the fight was getting out of hand, and I think they wanted to diffuse it."
