Storyline: Northern Gaza's city of Beit Hanoun, reduced to ruins in two years of conflict, now remains in silence after a ceasefire deal took effect on October 10. Beit Hanoun lies just hundreds of meters away from Israel's city of Sderot. In the early days of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which broke out in October 2023, Beit Hanoun was on one of the Israeli forces' main routes to enter the north part of the Gaza Strip. The city sustained frequent blasts and its buildings constantly cloaked in smoke, drowning in the sound of explosions and the howling of jet engines. Two years later, Beit Hanoun is in utter ruins, with no tall buildings left. Since the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, life in Sderot is slowly returning to normal. Yet all that's coming from Beit Hanoun's direction are the sounds of wind and occasionally a passing vehicle. Shotlist: Sderot, Israel - Recent: 1.
