1. VEHICLES ON FIRE ON HIGHWAY (TWO SHOTS) NIZHNEUDINSK, RUSSIA - OCT. 27, 2025: One person was killed and several vehicles were destroyed in a massive traffic accident on Monday, Oct. 27, along Russia’s federal highway R-255 “Sibir,” near the village of Kamyshet in the Nizhneudinsk district.
According to local authorities, the crash involved eight vehicles — seven trucks and one passenger car.
Five of them were completely engulfed in flames, and the driver of a car carrier died at the scene.
Emergency services remain on site as traffic has been diverted through Kamyshet in both directions.
Vladimir Potopakhin, head of the Nizhneudinsk district traffic police department, said rescue teams continue to work in the area and that the number of injured is still being verified.
