Norrie Shocks Alcaraz with Career-Defining Win at Paris Masters. Britain's Cameron Norrie has delivered one of the biggest upsets of his career, knocking out world number one Carlos Alcaraz in a thrilling three-set comeback at the Paris Masters. Norrie triumphed 4-6 6-3 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of the ATP Masters 1,000 event just months after being defeated by Alcaraz in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. “This win is huge for me,” said Norrie. “I’ve come back from injury and had a tough year. To get my first win over a world number one, especially someone as confident as Alcaraz, it feels amazing.” Despite losing the first set, Norrie broke early in the second to level the match, and his confidence grew with every point. In the final set, a brilliant backhand pass and clutch serves saw him break Alcaraz again, holding firm to close out the match. “I told myself I deserved to be here and I felt relaxed when it mattered,” Norrie added, crediting a calm morning walk with his coach as crucial to his focus. Norrie will face either Valentin Vacherot or Arthur Rinderknech in the next round. Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
