Nvidia Secures Major AI Chip Deals With South Korea’s Tech Giants. US chipmaker Nvidia has announced massive new partnerships across South Korea, agreeing to supply more than 260,000 of its most advanced AI chips to the government, Samsung, LG, and Hyundai. Speaking at the APEC CEO summit in Gyeongju, Nvidia’s chief executive Jensen Huang, said Korea could “produce intelligence as a new export that will drive global transformation,” just days after the company became the world’s first valued at $5 trillion.
