US, Los Angeles: Lancaster Junk Yard Catches Fire For The Fourth Time

Los Angeles, United States - October 31, 2025 10/31/2025 06:46 am GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. — Firefighters and deputies responded early Friday morning to a large scrapyard fire on Trevor Avenue in Lancaster. The blaze was reported around 6:46 a.m. in the 45300 block of Trevor Avenue, where heavy flames and thick smoke were seen rising from stacks of vehicles inside the yard. Firefighters from multiple Los Angeles County Fire Department stations arrived to find numerous cars fully engulfed. Crews quickly stretched hose lines and worked to stop the flames from spreading to other vehicles in the lot. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department assisted on scene. Engines E33, E117, E233, Squad 33, Command 10, and Battalion 11 were among the units dispatched. No nearby structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
