A Thai singer is appealing for help after losing her luxury watch at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Aimsiga Chotivichit, 33, also known as 'Jinny', reportedly had her Richard Mille RM 07-01 stolen during the Formula One event on October 5.

The timepiece, worth a staggering 400,000 SGD (234,526 GBP), featured a red central dial with a diamond-studded bezel and a white crocodile leather strap.

Seeking help online, the pop star turned entrepreneur said: 'I've never imagined such an incident could happen, especially in Singapore, a country I've loved and admired for so long, and consider as one of the safest places in the world.

'I'm unable to share any further details right now as the police are currently investigating everything.

'If you are a watch trader or resale shop in Singapore, please reach out to me directly so that I can share the serial number with you directly. Thank you.'

Aimsiga said that she wants her experience to serve as a warning to tourists to avoid taking valuable items abroad.

She added: ‘I actually wear this watch everywhere I travel, but this time I'm really shocked. All I can do now is pray and hope the thief has a change of heart and returns it.

‘I would deeply appreciate it if anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has relevant information could come forward.'

Jinny began her celebrity career at 14 years old, when she joined the girl group 'Chilli White Choc' in 2007. She left the music industry five years later and has since branched out as a content creator for fashion, beauty, and luxury living.
