This is the moment Aston Villa fans clashed with Palestine supporters outside their stadium in Birmingham, England.

The confrontation broke out during the Europa League match against Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, November 6.

Reports said activists, including members of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, gathered outside the stadium's Trinity Road Stand, where speakers led chants criticising the Israel Defense Forces and expressing support for Palestinians.

They also called for Israel's football clubs to be banned from tournaments organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Tensions reportedly eased once the match began, but some Villa supporters confronted the demonstrators through a metal fence during half-time.

Police said at least 11 people were arrested, mostly for racially aggravated offences.

More than 700 officers were deployed to manage the situation, while around 200 pro-Palestinian demonstrators joined the rally.
