Lebanon - November 10, 2025 The Israel Defense Forces reported that earlier today, using precise intelligence provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate and with support from the Israeli Air Force, it eliminated Samir Ali Fakih, a Hezbollah operative, in the Sarifa area of southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Fakih was involved in smuggling weapons for the terrorist organization across various regions of Lebanon. Additionally, on the previous day, the IDF’s Northern Command and the Air Force carried out airstrikes that killed two other Hezbollah operatives in the Houmin al-Fouqa and As-Sawana areas of southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that these operatives were among 12 Hezbollah members eliminated since the beginning of the month. Their activities were described as direct threats to Israel and its citizens and as violations of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF reaffirmed its commitment to continue taking action to remove any threats against the State of Israel.
