12. INTERIOR SHOTS OF DAMAGED MOSQUE AS PEOPLE IN IT GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - NOV. 13, 2025: Displaced Palestinians are seeking refuge in the heavily damaged Al-Shuhada Mosque at the Saraya Junction in northern Gaza following Israeli attacks.

The Al-Fayyumi family, originally from the Shujaiyya neighborhood in the eastern Gaza Strip, took shelter in the partially destroyed mosque after losing their home and being unable to find space in overcrowded displacement centers. Despite the risk of collapse, they continue to live there as winter conditions worsen.

Seham al-Fayyumi, an elderly member of the family, said, “This place is not suitable for living. We have nowhere else to go, so we had to take shelter in this mosque that was half destroyed in the bombardment.”

She added that living outside was impossible due to the presence of pregnant women, children, and elderly family members.

Ebu Rami al-Fayyumi, the father of the family, said they were exhausted by the ongoing war and its consequences, calling on the international community to “stand with the oppressed.”
