US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Vehicle Crash Severs Power Pole On White Lane
Bakersfield, United States - November 16, 2025 11/16/2025 02:35 am GMT-0800 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A vehicle crash caused significant damage to a power pole early Sunday morning in the 2500 block of White Lane. The collision occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. when a car struck the power pole, severing it at the base before continuing and crashing into a tree. The vehicle's occupants fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. In response to the incident, power was shut off in the area as crews worked to repair the damaged pole, which was left hanging from the wires. The Bakersfield Police Department and the Bakersfield Fire Department responded to the scene.
