3. VARIOUS OF DRONE SHOTS OF PROTESTERS MARCHING (NO SOUND) BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - NOV. 16, 2025: Thousands of demonstrators marched in Brussels on Sunday, Nov. 16, to protest Israeli attacks on Gaza, despite the declared ceasefire.

The crowd gathered in front of the city’s Gare du Nord train station before setting off for the march.

Protesters called for the immediate suspension of the European Union’s partnership agreement with Israel and urged the Belgian government to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Tel Aviv.

Members of Belgian labor unions also joined the march, which concluded at Place Jean Rey, located next to the EU Council building.

Against the backdrop of the Israeli war on Gaza, several countries recognized Palestinian statehood during UN meetings in September, bringing the total to 160 of the UN’s 193 member states, according to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.

Israel has killed more than 69,000 people, mostly women and children, in attacks in Gaza since October 2023 and reduced it to rubble.

Israel continues to occupy Palestinian territory, as well as land in Syria and Lebanon, and opposes the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state on lands occupied in 1967.
