The main protest with people marching in Brussels before the riots erupt in Brussels as thousands protest against COVID restrictions. Police used tear gas and water cannons against the violent crowd with scuffles ongoing for more than 4 hours. The main protest, a European demonstration with people arriving from all over Europe including anti-vaccers, was against the measures governments take against the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic like the mandatory vaccination, the vaccination pass certificate and the QR code. Local media estimate the crowd exceeded 50.000 participants in the Belgian capital. The protest began from Gare Du North, North railway station and at the Cinquantenaire Arch and the Jubelpark where police dissolved the protest.
