On the night of November 22, 2025, a rare November snowfall gently covered a quiet Paris street. The video shows light flakes settling on parked cars and trees under dim streetlights, evoking a peaceful, almost magical scene.

This early-season snow caught many Parisians by surprise. According to Météo-France, cold air from the north combined with an Atlantic weather front drove snow showers over the Paris region that evening, marking one of the first significant winter episodes of the season.

The next day, a thin blanket of snow remained in parts of Paris, including along the Seine and at the Eiffel Tower, after more snow fell overnight.

According to reports, the accumulation in the city was modest — between 1 and 5 cm in some spots.

While early November snow is unusual for Paris, it’s not unprecedented: historical records note similar episodes, including in the 1960s.
