Worker demonstrates chestnut-peeling machine that removes shells instantly
A worker demonstrated how a machine efficiently removed the hard shells from a bag of chestnuts.
Footage shows the man pouring the nuts into the device as a steel chamber spins inside in Jiangsu, China.
The chestnuts can be seen rapidly moving within the drum while the crushed shells are expelled from the machine, scattering across the floor on September 21.
Moments later, the man released a latch, allowing the peeled chestnuts to drop straight onto the strainer he was holding.
He then lightly tossed the chestnuts in the strainer to shake off the remaining loose shells.
