Antonio Banderas 'absolutely reeked' of fish filming Anthony Bourdain biopic
During a recent appearance at the Torino Film Festival in Italy, the Spanish actor opened up about playing Bourdain's mentor alongside Dominic Sessa as a younger version of the late chef and TV personality. According to Variety, he shared that he had a particularly smelly experience while shooting scenes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. "We spent a month and a half filming in Cape Cod and Newport, constantly surrounded by the smell of fish," he laughed.
