The mission will ferry Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikayev, along with NASA astronaut Christopher Williams, to the International Space Station.
For the first time in the agency’s history, the rocket is decorated with space-themed drawings created by children with cancer, featuring artwork from young patients across 50 Russian cities and 14 countries.
Roscosmos said 130 children will attend the launch ceremony to watch their illustrations “travel into space” as part of the mission.
