10. VARIOUS OF MADRASA STUDENTS STUDYING LESSONS NEW DELHI, INDIA - NOV. 26: Muslim communities in India’s capital have expressed concern over false allegations and online smear campaigns circulating after a Nov. 10 attack that killed eight people.

Muhammad Ahmed Shahi, a cleric at a madrasa in a predominantly Muslim neighborhood, said students there study English along with Islamic subjects.

“Regarding the Delhi incident, we’re deeply distressed by what happened. The actions of the perpetrator have no relation to Islam,” he said.

Mohammed Yasir, a madrasa student, said he is happy with his studies and hopes to become an officer in the Indian Administrative Service.
