This footage reportedly shows Russian FPV strike drones destroying Ukrainian field artillery guns and a minibus on the right bank of the Dnipro River.

The Russian Ministry of Defence said the attack took place in Kherson Oblast in Ukraine on December 3, reports stated.

Officials said units from its Drone Systems Troops operating within the Dnipro grouping had been disabling and destroying Ukrainian artillery systems, personnel, UAV command posts, and equipment on a daily basis on the right bank of the river.

It said airborne drone units had been using strike FPV drones controlled by fibre-optic cable.

Authorities added that the advantage of these drones was that fibre-optic control made them unaffected by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems.

A sapper-engineer from a strike UAV platoon with the call sign 'Taiga' said: 'We work on equipment and on enemy personnel. The drone is easy to assemble and operate. It has proven itself well in action.'

The drone team reportedly destroyed two field artillery guns and a minibus carrying Ukrainian personnel towards the frontline for rotation, with three precise strikes.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
