IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Wiz Khalifa sentenced to prison in Romania for drug possession
In July 2024, the rapper was arrested and charged with "illegal possession of high-risk drugs” after he smoked marijuana onstage during a gig at the Beach Please! Festival in Costinesti. Khalifa was found in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis. Citing local agency Agerpress, editors at People Magazine reported on Thursday that officials at the Constanta Court of Appeal had convicted Khalifa of "possession of dangerous drugs, without right, for personal consumption”. The judge overturned a previous fine of approximately $829 (£619) and ruled that Khalifa must serve the sentence in custody.
