Exclusive- Artist nails half‑face self‑portrait challenge with Sharpie—TikTok clip reaches 322K views
A TikTok creator has gone viral after showcasing her remarkable ability to draw a half‑face self‑portrait beside her real face using only her phone’s front camera. The clip, posted by @nyquil9, has now reached 322,000 views.
Nicole explained that she has drawn herself “what feels like millions of times,” having created face sketches, charcoal portraits, expression studies, paintings, and countless angles of her own features over the years. When she spotted a TikTok challenge inviting artists to complete the other half of their face with a sketchbook, she decided to put her long‑honed skill to the test.
The result was super accurate, even more impressive given that she completed the drawing in about a minute — later speeding up the footage for viewers — and used a Sharpie, leaving no room for erasing or corrections. She added that the viral clip was actually her first attempt of the day, making the precision even more striking.
