The search, paused overnight, will resume at 8:30 AM with daylight. The incident occurred between 10:30 and 11:00 AM on the GR-3409 road, connecting Puerto Lope and Obéilar in the Sierra de Parapanda, after heavy rainfall caused the stream to swell rapidly. The Civil Guard is coordinating a large-scale operation with the Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group (GREIM), scanning the most inaccessible sections of the stream.
