Bhit Shah, Pakistan - January 01, 2026 A dramatic incident occurred in Bhit Shah city of Matiari district, Sindh, where a 45-year-old man climbed a 12,000-volt electricity pole to press his demands. The man threatened to commit suicide if his demand for marriage was not fulfilled. Upon seeing the man on the high-voltage pole, thousands of people gathered at the scene, creating panic and concern. The local administration, WAPDA officials, police, and other rescue personnel rushed to the spot and made continuous efforts to safely bring him down from the pole. The situation remained tense for several hours as authorities tried to convince the man to come down and avoid any tragic incident.
