A 78-year-old grandfather stunned park visitors when he went up to a tall, steel pole and climbed it with his bare hands in just seconds with incredible ease.

The unnamed pensioner displayed his agility in a phone video captured in a park Nanjing, in Jiangsu Province, China, on October 22.

Neatly dressed in a white shirt and khaki pants rather than workout clothing, he stood by the pole before he confidently grabbed onto it with both hands and began climbing up it.

His movements were so steady and smooth that he almost appeared to be sliding up to the top. Meanwhile, a much younger man was seen trying to pull himself up by ring rows but immediately gives up.

In contrast, as he hopped back down on the ground, the OAP reached the top of the pole, then gracefully descended even quicker.

The unexpectedly strong grandpa left many bystanders impressed with his level of fitness and strength.
