Phoenix, United States - January 01, 2026 01/01/2026 12:33 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – At around 12:33 a.m. Thursday morning, the Phoenix Fire Department was dispatched to an unknown fire in the 1700 block of West Cinnabar Avenue. As units were responding to the scene, the unknown fire was upgraded to a house fire. Units arrived at a single-story residential home with heavy smoke and flames visible. They established a water supply and conducted search-and-rescue and fire attack operations. Units quickly knocked down the flames, and it is unknown at this time how many residents were displaced. Phoenix fire investigators were on scene to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries to firefighters or residents have been reported at this time.
