US, Phoenix: Phoenix Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver
Phoenix, United States - December 27, 2025 12/26/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near 36th Avenue and Northern Avenue shortly after 11:00 p.m. Officers and firefighters arrived to find an unresponsive pedestrian in the roadway. The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Phoenix FD personnel. According to Phoenix police officers at the scene, the vehicle involved in the collision had fled the area before first responders arrived. A hard closure was established for Northern Avenue, spanning 35th Avenue to 37th Avenue. Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation.
