If places like Ecopark are already suffering, then there is no logic in my head and I think there is no logic in anyone else's. If someone tells me that there are safe places in Ukraine, name them for me. I don't know what hell looks like, but I think it looks like this." KHARKIV, UKRAINE — JAN. 1, 2026: Kharkiv Ecopark in Ukraine was damaged in a Russian strike on Thursday, Jan. 1, resulting in the death of many birds inside, according to local authorities.

"According to preliminary information, the enemy carried out a guided aerial bomb (KAB) strike on the outskirts of the city. At this time, one person is known to have been injured as a result of the enemy strike," a statement by the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration said.
