Iman honours David Bowie with birthday tribute 10 years after his death
The legendary singer-songwriter died of liver cancer on 10 January 2016, just two days after turning 69. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Iman posted a black-and-white portrait of her late husband taken by photographer Frank W. Ockenfels III. In the accompanying caption, the supermodel honoured Bowie, whom she married in 1992. "Happy Heavenly Birthday. Your light burns so bright in all our hearts! We love and miss you," she wrote, adding the hashtag, "#BowieForever.". Additionally, Iman and David's daughter, Lexi Jones, shared a throwback photo showing her presenting her dad with a birthday cake when she was a girl.
