Esma Esrim, a displaced Palestinian whose tent was destroyed, said the missile hit the area directly in the afternoon, burning their belongings and leaving families without shelter in the rain.
"We were willing to live with the bare minimum, but now even that is gone," she said.
Ihsan Abdulaal, another displaced resident, said he has been displaced multiple times over the past three years of war and that "there is nowhere left to seek refuge."
Vicdan Mahmud Esrim fled the tent with her five children after receiving a warning before the strike. She returned to find her shelter bombed. "My husband was killed, I am wounded, and my children are sick. We have been moving constantly for two years, and we have no strength left," she said.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health said that despite the ceasefire that came into effect on Oct. 10, Israeli violations have continued, with 425 Palestinians killed and 1,206 injured in the violations.
