This is the chaotic moment crazed K-Pop fans forced their way into a lift with a singer.

Park Sung Hoon, 23, a member of the Korean group ENHYPEN, had just returned to Korea after a trip to China when fans attempted to enter the elevator with him at Incheon International Airport.

Footage shows two women being pulled away from the lift while Park Sung Hoon stands calmly behind his security guard, as other passengers watch, visibly confused, on January 11.

Local media reported that the celebrity was chased by four female fans after getting off the plane, prompting the artist to sprint away into hiding.

ENHYPEN is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed through the 2020 survival competition show I-LAND, debuting on November 30 that same year.

Incheon International Airport took institutional measures in September last year to reduce congestion and safety issues during the entry and exit of artists. The airport said it will require artists and their companies to submit an 'airport use plan' and guide them in complying with airport regulations and safety orders during the personal protection process.

Obsessive fans known as 'sasaeng', a term referring to intrusive stalkers in Korean, have been reported to track idol schedules, monitor flights, and even obtain sensitive personal information such as passport details.

When K-pop groups travel abroad for events, these sasaeng fans often follow them, relentlessly capturing every moment with little regard for the idols' privacy or personal boundaries.

This invasive behaviour has resulted in multiple recent incidents within the South Korean entertainment industry, highlighting the ongoing challenges celebrities face due to extreme fan obsession and breaches of privacy.
