Pet dog swats away static balloons with a flick of his ears
This is the amusing moment a pet dog flicked its ear to swat away static balloons placed on its head by its owner.
Footage shows the prankster owner rubbing a blue balloon against her brown dog's head as the pooch lounges on a balcony in Shanghai, China.
After creating enough static for the balloon to stick, she attempted to stack a second balloon on top of the first.
However, the alert canine quickly caught on as it watched itself in the glass panel in front, knocking several inflatables to the ground, appearing annoyed by its owner's antics on December 17.
While the very first balloon remained stuck fast to its fur, the dog repeatedly twitched its ears to remove every balloon the woman tried to add.
Experts said that rubbing a balloon against fur creates friction, which builds up static electricity and results in an electric attraction.
