China: Humanoid robot in China accidentally kicked an engineer during a motion test
Shanghai, China - December 23, 2025 This is the unexpected moment that a Chinese humanoid robot accidentally kicked an engineer while they were performing a synchronized combat movement test together. On December 24, 2025, in Shanghai, China, the video captured a humorous accident involving a Unitree G1 humanoid robot and a male engineer during a motion imitation test. The engineer stood in front of the robot and demonstrated a series of fighting style movements for the robot to follow. As both raised their legs at nearly the same time, the robot misjudged the distance and unexpectedly kicked the engineer in the groin area. The engineer immediately bent forward in pain while people nearby reacted with laughter and surprise. The robot remained in position after the movement, appearing unaware of the impact it had just caused. The video ended with the engineer squatting on the ground in visible pain while the robot remained standing in front of him.
