SpaceX Crew 11 capsule seen during fiery re-entry
This is the dramatic moment the SpaceX Crew 11 capsule was seen during a fiery re-entry.
Footage shows a bright streak of light, identified as the spacecraft, moving across the sky over California on January 15.
The capsule was returning from NASA's Crew-11 mission, which spent around five months aboard the International Space Station before making an early journey home.
NASA confirmed the return was expedited due to a medical issue involving one crew member, prompting the four-person team - comprising NASA astronauts and international partners - to cut their mission short.
The capsule later splashed down safely in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California, marking a successful conclusion to the mission.
