Chinese dogs swarm around pink-costumed meerkat in city plaza
On December 26, 2025, in Hangzhou, located in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, a video captured a playful scene at the Starlight Avenue central plaza. Several pet dogs roamed the lawn together, enjoying the open space.
When they spotted a young meerkat dressed in a pink dinosaur outfit, their curiosity immediately took over. A white poodle approached first, sniffing closely at the unusual newcomer, followed by several other dogs gathering around.
The startled meerkat quickly darted away, overwhelmed by the sudden attention. The lively encounter amused onlookers and highlighted the animals’ innocent curiosity.
